Allen Elementary School

Vaughn Flagler, Assistant Principal

I am from Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from Gardner-Webb University located outside of Charlotte, North Carolina with my bachelor’s degree. I obtained my master’s degree from West Texas A&M located in Canyon, Texas. I played football while in college and was a two-time all-American. I also played arena football for a couple of years while in school to get my teaching certification.

When I came to Texas I began substitute teaching with Amarillo ISD. Soon after I took an ISS position which I worked for two years at the high school level. I then moved to the elementary level where I taught 5th grade math, science, social studies and supported reading for 5 years.

My passion and purpose is to serve others, and I believe working in the field of education is the most important and rewarding career field. There is no greater joy than helping a student towards reaching their full potential and knowing you played a small part in their development and success.  I am excited to be a part of Frisco ISD and to begin another school year here at Allen Elementary.  Last year was amazing and I know this year is going to be even better.
