Bledsoe Elementary School
Sherry Klingenberg

My name is Sherry Klingenberg, and I am honored to serve as the principal of Bledsoe Elementary. I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with my Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary studies. My teaching career began at Chapel Hill ISD in Mount Pleasant, Texas, where I taught 7th and 8th grade for four years. In 2004, I moved to McKinney and began teaching 4th grade at Rucker Elementary in Prosper ISD. While teaching at Prosper, I earned a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Lamar University. After teaching in Prosper for seven years, I decided to join Frisco ISD. I taught fourth grade at Ashley Elementary for two years before being named the Assistant Principal. Before being named the principal of Bledsoe, I served as the Assistant Principal of Ashley Elementary for four years.

My husband, Jeff, and I live in McKinney. We have four children: Chelsea, Matt, Emily, and Drue. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am an avid reader and love to travel.

I have always had a passion for teaching and consider myself a lifelong learner. It is my desire to be a partner with parents and the community in meeting the needs of each student. I truly believe it takes a village, and I am honored to be a small part of the Bledsoe village.
