Borchardt Elementary School
Terry Walsh, Assistant Principal

It is hard to believe this will be my twenty-second year in Frisco ISD. What an amazing journey it has been! After graduating from Texas Woman’s University, I began my teaching career at Curtsinger Elementary as the Music Teacher in 1995. Soon after, I co-founded and directed the Frisco All-City Choir. A short six years later I moved to Bright Elementary as the Music Teacher in 2001. I earned my Master’s Degree Education Administration from Texas A&M Commerce in 2004. I then became the Assistant Principal at Bright Elementary in 2006 and moved to Smith Elementary as the Assistant Principal in 2008. I am now beginning my fourth year as the Assistant Principal here at Borchardt Elementary. I have so enjoyed being a part of this unique family community where we collaborate to enrich, challenge, inspire, and connect so that each child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

On a personal note, I have been married for thirty four years to my husband, Tim, and we have two adult children. My son, Zac, and his wife, Rachael, live in Frisco with my grandchildren, Hayden and Hallie. My daughter, Mandy, and her husband, Matthew, live in McKinney with my grandson Jameson. When I am not working with students I enjoy playing with my grandchildren, decorating, gardening, playing with my many pets, traveling, and scuba diving with my family.
