RBFCU Gives Back to Frisco ISD Teachers

Apr 04, 2016

Four lucky teachers at Bright Elementary School in Frisco ISD got the opportunity to enter a large, plastic “cash vault” in February to grab blowing dollar bills for their classrooms.

Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union visited the school as part of Random Acts of Kindness Week. The credit union recognizes that teachers spend hundreds of their own dollars each year to make classrooms a special place to learn and wanted to give back to the community.

All four Bright teachers were awarded $100 gift cards to purchase school supplies and other materials to enhance their classrooms.

In addition, RBFCU presented the school with a $600 check to enhance technology resources for all teachers and students.

These additional resources complement those provided by the school district and help enrich the learning environment for students.
