Corbell Elementary School

My name is Dejon Conley and I am honored to be the Assistant Principal at Corbell Elementary. I’m excited as another school year begins and I look forward to getting to know you and working together to continue to make Corbell great!

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I was born and raised in Galveston, Texas (Island Girl!) and then came to the North Texas area for college. I graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and received my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Principal Certification from the University of North Texas. Before coming to Corbell, I was a 4th grade Math and Science teacher at Ogle Elementary and prior to that, I taught several years in Dallas ISD. Having been in education for 20+ years, I believe that all students can learn when given the opportunity to develop the skills needed to succeed. I look forward to cultivating relationships with the students, families and faculty/staff of Corbell.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I love to travel, read (I’m in a book club!) and going to the movies and sporting events. I am very active with my church and several civic organizations.
