Fisher Elementary School

I am honored to serve as the assistant principal of Fisher Elementary.  Our mission at Fisher Elementary is committing to developing independent, successful learners.  I’m thrilled to be part of the Fisher family that works so hard to fulfill our mission by providing high levels of learning for all of our students in order for them to become independent, successful learners.

This year will be my thirteenth year in education.  I spent six years teaching in Oklahoma before moving to Texas.  During the seven years I’ve been in Frisco, I spent three years teaching first grade at Carroll Elementary.  I’ve served as the assistant principal at Sem Elementary as well as an elementary ELAR coordinator.   I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from East Central University in Oklahoma.  I also received my Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas.

My husband, Jon, and I have been married for 11 years.  We have a yorkie named Macy.  Jon and I live an active lifestyle of running together every morning before school and spend every summer hiking in the mountains.  When we aren’t running or at school, we enjoy spending time with our family and friends.  You may also run into us at a few OU football games.  I look forward to building relationships and partnering together to make this school year one to remember.
