I look forward serving our Isbell family this year!

I come from a long line of educators dating back to the late 1800’s. This year will mark my 28th year in education. Within this time I have been a Teacher, School Counselor, Special Education Counselor, Assistant Principal and now Principal. I moved to Frisco ISD in 2016 and served as an Assistant Principal at Robertson Elementary and am proud to have joined the Isbell family in 2017.

I have 3 boys, two of which are in college and one in high school. Go SFA, Texas Tech and Prosper Eagles ! I enjoy my Peloton, live music, travel, writing, creating, and spending time with family and friends.

Seeing our children learn here at Isbell makes me smile. We are blessed to have such a wonderful school family.

Hello! My name is Jill Sutherland and I would like to welcome you to Isbell Elementary. In my role as the school counselor, I will be providing guidance in the classrooms, small group and individual counseling.

I graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with an Elementary Education degree and have 17 years of teaching experience. During that time, I received my Master of Education in School Counseling. This will be my fifth year in the elementary school counselor position.

It is my priority to ensure that each student is successful in anything they set their mind to. I am here to assist you with whatever need or concern you may have. I believe that if we all work together we can provide valuable learning tools so that our children excel in life. Please be aware that I am here to provide resources for parents, teachers, and students. If you have any questions, please feel free to stop by or call the office for an appointment. Be sure to keep checking our Isbell website for updates on information regarding our counseling program and other events.

I look forward to seeing familiar faces and getting to know the families that are new to our community. Working together is the key to a successful year and I want to help make your child's elementary experience a positive and memorable one.

I am so excited to be joining the Isbell family!  This year will be my 20th year in education and 16th year in Frisco ISD.  I was a classroom teacher for 16 years in grades first through seventh.  The past three years I have served as the Instructional Coach at Sem Elementary.

I graduated in 1998 from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in education.  I received my Master of Education in 1999.  I recently obtained by administration certification from Lamar University.
My husband, Matt, and I have two girls.  Anna will be in 7th grade at Griffin Middle School and Ava will be in 4th grade at Purefoy Elementary.  We enjoy playing games together, going to movies, and playing with our crazy dogs, Leo and Coco.

I am excited to build a partnership with you and your student. I look forward to working together to ensure the academic and social emotional success of your child. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I am so excited to meet your family!
