McSpedden Elementary

My family and I have lived in the Dallas area for 20+ years.  I’ve been teaching in various settings for 17 years, and some of my most rewarding teaching moments have come as I’ve worked with Resource students.  Crafting lessons to benefit students' diverse needs and learning styles is what I do best!  I love to create, make learning fun, and engage all levels of learners!

I remember fondly the teachers I had who radiated enthusiasm, took an interest in me, supported me in the areas where I struggled, and helped me see the application of the subjects they taught. They made learning fun, and I am such a teacher!

I am looking forward to a wonderful year working with McSpedden students!  My students are my heroes and I am definitely one of their biggest fans!  It's going to be a great year!

I am so excited to be teaching special education at McSpedden Elementary school. I knew I wanted to be a teacher since I was four years old and have such a passion when it comes to children and their educations. I look forward to be a big part of your students lives while they attend elementary school here.

I was born in Dallas, Texas, grew up in Plano and graduated from Plano Senior High School. I recently graduated from Texas A&M University Commerce this May with my Bachelors in Early childcare thru 6th grade generalist Interdisciplinary studies and special education.

My husband and I have been married a little over three years as of April 11th.  We moved to Frisco in 2016 and love living here.
