Norris Elementary

Dear Parents,

Being named Principal of Armetha Norris Elementary School serves as one of the most significant and exciting events in my life. I am honored and humbled to be chosen to lead a school in this amazing school district and community, especially one that has an outstanding reputation as Norris. I look forward to continuing and building upon the excellence of Norris Elementary.

This school year will mark my 13th year with Frisco ISD. I spent my first seven years with FISD as a second grade teacher at Shawnee Trail Elementary, two years as an Instructional Coach at Phillips Elementary, and the past three years as the Assistant Principal at Hosp Elementary.

I attended Texas Tech University where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I completed a master’s degree in Education Administration from Lamar University. My husband, Matt and I live in McKinney with our two children Madison (8) and Jackson (6), who keep us on the go. We are a huge sports family, especially when it comes to Texas Tech football. In my spare time, I love hanging out with family and friends, working out, shopping, and attending my kids’ sporting events.

It is my passion and goal to ensure that we continue to create an environment that fosters the life-long love of learning. I look forward to working closely with you and your children this school year. If there is anything I can assist you with, please feel free to contact me at
