Ogle Elementary School

Dear Ogle Parents,

Welcome back to another exciting year at Ogle Elementary! Our teachers are  committed to providing the best education for each child. We are honored to have your children at Ogle Elementary. Please note school begins and 7:45 and is dismissed at 2:55.

The information below will detail procedures for morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal. Your child’s safety is our priority, so we ask that you please follow these guidelines to help us ensure each and every child has a safe arrival and departure from Ogle.

Crosswalk Areas for Student Arrival and Dismissal
We ask for parents and students to use the crosswalks located on Silverado and Big Fork Trail or Elk Mountain and Big Fork Trail between the hours of 7:10 – 7:50 a.m. and 2:45 – 3:15 p.m. By doing so, ensures the safety of our students that walk to and from school. It also allows traffic to flow more easily during arrival and dismissal times.

Student Drop Off
Student drop off begins every morning at 7:20. Teachers will be posted at specific locations to monitor the safety of your student. Please allow ample time to move through the drive each morning. The closer to 7:20 you arrive, the less traffic you will encounter.

Entering from Big Fork Drive on the southeast side of the campus, you will circle the school and drop your children off on the north side of the campus. Please note the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade drop-off location is just past Pod 3. These students will enter the doors by Pod 3 and the gym, in order to make their way to their classrooms. Kinder, 1st and 2nd grade drop-off location is near the circle drive exit, outside of the cafeteria. Do not drop students off at the back of the building. Parents with siblings may choose one designated area to drop all their children off. Please drop off your students in the designated areas only. We work hard to maintain the safety of our students and cannot monitor areas that are not designated drop off locations.
The area in front of the school can become very congested. Students cannot be dropped off on the curb on Big Fork Trial or Silverado. These streets are very busy and we want to ensure the safety and well being of all our students.
