Hello Pink Parents! My name is Christie Dragoslavic, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the school counselor at Pink Elementary! My husband and I have lived in Frisco with our two beautiful daughters for over thirteen years. In fact, we choose to move to Frisco when starting our family because of the amazing schools. Thus, I am honored to serve the community in which I live, and I am thankful for the opportunity to work alongside so many talented educators that through their commitment and effort have earned Frisco ISD such a distinguished reputation.

I’m starting my eighteenth year in education and each school year is just as exciting as the first, if not more! In 1997 I earned my Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and taught for ten wonderful years. In 2007, I earned my Master of Arts Degree in School Counseling and decide to take some time off to stay home with my two precious girls. During my brief sabbatical, I had to find a way to feed my passion for education, so I took a part time teaching job as a college professor. In 2010, I began my rewarding career as a school counselor. Over the past eight years I have enjoyed working with students, in conjunction with families and teachers, to develop the skills required for students to be academically successful and emotionally equipped  to be responsible and productive citizens. In addition to my degrees and experience, I hold a certificate in School Counseling, Elementary Education, and Special Education.

I am committed to helping ALL students at Pink Elementary realize their potential by delivering a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes personal growth and academic development. The comprehensive counseling program is comprised of guidance, responsive services, individual planning, and system supports. The comprehensive school counseling programs enhances a student’s education by developing the knowledge, skills, and attitudes students need to achieve academic success, college and career readiness and social and emotional development.

My job as a school counselor is multifaceted, but my commitment to making all students at Pink Elementary feel cared for, safe, capable, and connected is unwavering. Please contact me if your child is experiencing challenges that are impacting their success at school or if a particular concern arises. I am happy to be of assistance!

Warm Regards,
