Bright Academy to Offer Unique Academic Programs

Mar 06, 2018

Frisco ISD is excited to introduce new and unique learning opportunities at select campuses.

FISD plans to implement the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme at Bright Academy, the District’s first School of Choice.

The campus will also offer Spanish language enrichment and Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Launch, a pre-career and technical education program focused on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Other features include increased technology, small class sizes and new learning spaces.

The campus will enroll students who live in the Bright attendance zone, as well as interested elementary students from across FISD, starting in the 2018-19 school year. The District will utilize a random lottery to select interested students based on the number of seats available.
