Shawnee Trail Elementary School

It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new assistant principal of Shawnee Trail Elementary. I have been a part of Frisco ISD since 1998 when I accepted a fourth grade position at Curtsinger Elementary. Since then, I have taught fourth grade at Boals and Purefoy Elementary and served as the instructional coach at Fisher Elementary, supporting teaching and learning in all grade levels. I began my administrative career in 2016 as the assistant principal at Sem Elementary and thoroughly enjoyed working with all of the wonderful Sem teachers, students, and families.

I earned my BS in elementary education at Baylor University and my Master's degree from Lamar University. I am proud to say that my daughter will be heading to Baylor this fall to pursue her BBA. I also have two children attending Wakeland High School, and my youngest son will be starting middle school at Griffin. My kids surely keep me busy with all of their activities and events (mainly soccer), but I love every minute of it! When we are not attending our kids' sporting events, my husband Patrick and I enjoy traveling all over! We visited London and Paris this summer and are already planning our next big vacation!

I am so excited to meet everyone at Shawnee Trail! I look forward to working closely with you and your children this year, and I know that together we can achieve great things!

Sincerely,

Suzie Koyle
