My name is Carrie Dellinger and I am honored to be the Assistant Principal at Sonntag Elementary this year!  This fall will mark my eighteenth year in education, with fifteen of those years being in Frisco ISD.   I taught sixth grade in Richardson ISD, and then moved to Frisco ISD to teach fifth grade at Shawnee Trail Elementary.  My passion for mathematics led me to the FISD Curriculum and Instruction Department working as a math facilitator and then transitioning to the Mathematics Coordinator Position.  Last year, I was the assistant principal at Bright Elementary.

I grew up in a small town in upstate New York, and attended Southern Illinois University on a golf scholarship.  I earned a master’s degree in education administration from Lamar University.

My husband Dustin and I live in Plano with our two boys.  Our oldest son, Tyler, will be a freshman at Texas A&M University this fall—Gig ‘Em!  Our youngest son Peyton will begin his junior year at Plano Senior High School.  Our free time this fall will be spent cheering on the Aggies at Kyle Field!

I believe we can create a culture of learning for all students when we work collaboratively with one another……parents, teachers, students, and administrators.  I am so excited to meet all of the outstanding families at Sonntag, so please feel free to stop by and say hello.  #SONNTAG_STRONG
