Sparks Elementary School

Ms. De Santiago
Assistant Principal

It is an honor and privilege to serve as the new Assistant Principal at Sparks Elementary. I am committed to continue building an environment where the social, emotional, and academic needs of our students are met in order for them to maximize their own potential and growth.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas, and a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. This year will mark my tenth year in Frisco ISD, as well as in the field of Education. I’ve taught all subjects in 3rd and 5th grade in various FISD schools, including Mooneyham Elementary, Bledsoe Elementary, and Nichols Elementary. Most recently, I served as the Instructional Coach at Comstock Elementary where I dedicated the last two years supporting teachers and students in all grade levels.

I was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up watching baseball and basketball. I’m a big fan of the Chicago Cubs, White Sox, and since moving to Texas in 2000, I have also grown fond of the Dallas Mavs. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, trying out new restaurants, watching movies, reading a good book, and going shopping.

I’m grateful to be joining the Sparks family, and I look forward to building relationships with the families, students, and staff. I eagerly await the opportunity to serve you and support the level of excellence that has been established as we partner to ensure that all students learn at high levels.
