High School Volunteers Teach Tadlock Students about Poison Control

Oct 06, 2014

Frisco ISD health science students lent a hand at Health and Safety Night on September 25 at Tadlock Elementary.

The students are involved in HOSA-Future Health Professionals, formerly known as Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), at the Career and Technical Education Center and Heritage High School.

The group, including Christine Eapen, Aditi Chakradeo and Chrismary Titus of the CTE HOSA chapter, and Nivi Srinivasa, Manu and Madhu Kondeti of the Heritage HOSA chapter, partnered with the North Texas Poison Center to teach students and parents at Tadlock about different poisons and what to do in case of a poisoning.
