Liberty – Freedom. . . action going beyond normal limits. These are the words found in Webster’s Dictionary to define the meaning of the word Liberty. It is what our country was founded on and what our Constitution was written to defend. Many famous Americans have inspired others through their impassioned words regarding our liberty and freedoms. . . . Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty – John Fitzgerald Kennedy. It seems very fitting to give this name to our fourth high school during these times of renewed patriotism and service to others that is evidenced daily throughout our country, our communities and our school district. Together, this community strives to provide the best in opportunities for all students so that they can go out into the world and leave their mark as concerned citizens and leaders of a new century – a century that as those before will see unique challenges, inevitable change and continued efforts to uphold the belief in liberty and justice for all.
