Submitting Volunteer Hours in Xello 

Lebanon Trail High School uses Xello to record and track all student volunteer hours. Please follow the instructions below to ensure your hours are submitted correctly and approved. 

How to Submit Your Hours 

1. Log in to your Xello account. 

2. Click “About Me” on the left-hand menu. 

3. Scroll down to the “Experiences” section. 

4. Click “Volunteer” and complete all required fields: 

Please also: 

• Keep a personal record of the hours you submit. 

• Submit all hours within the school year in which they are completed. 

Eligible Time Frame 

• You may submit hours earned beginning the summer before your freshman year. 

• All hours must be submitted no later than April 1 of your senior year. 

Guidelines for Approval 

• Volunteer work must be performed outside of the regular school day. 

• All hours must be logged in Xello. 

• Undocumented hours will not be accepted. 

• Volunteer work must follow the FISD Academic Guide Guidelines for Community Service. 

If your service spans multiple months or includes a large number of hours, submit entries by individual month. 

Do Not: 

• Enter "ongoing" as an end date. 

• List students, family members, or friends as your contact. 

• Wait until the last minute to log your hours.
