Two Centennial Students Honored by Rotary in December

Nicole Sun and Brayden Geiger of Centennial High School were the Rotary Spotlight Students of the Month for December.

The Frisco Rotary Club honors two high school students each month, choosing students who represent the values of service that Rotarians promote. The students are guests at the club’s luncheon held at the River Club at Toyota Stadium.

Sun is the daughter of Amy Lin and Geiger is the son of Robert and Kristal Geiger.

Sun is a member of the Sweethearts Dance Team, the Health Occupations Students Association (HOSA), DECA and she tutors students in violin. She is a National Merit Finalist, a National AP Scholar, and an accomplished award-winning student of French. She is president of both the French Club and the Student Service Committee. She is a member of the Mayor’s Youth Council, National Honor Society, National French Honor Society and a teen court attorney. She plans to study Business Law.

Geiger is president of the National Honor Society, a varsity soccer player and an AP Scholar with Honors. He is a leader with Tuesday Night Titans. He volunteers as a soccer coach, an FISD Ambassador and a Miracle League referee and buddy. He has been selected to attend Boys State. He plans to major in biomedical engineering.

Both Sun and Geiger are involved in the Independent Study and Mentorship class at Centennial.
