Schedule
:

  • All 9th grade students will be taking the PSAT 8/9 test
  • All 10th and 11th grade students will take the PSAT/NMSQT test
  • The tests will be given during 1st and 2nd periods.
  • Afternoon classes (3B and 4B) including CTE Center classes will follow the regular schedule. 
  • Room assignments for all 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will be posted outside the cafeteria the week prior to testing. 
  • TESTING WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 9:00 AM.  Students should report to the testing room before 9:00AM.

CELL PHONES/ELECTRONIC DEVICES are not allowed in the testing room. 

  • Any cell phone or electronic device (capable of capturing photos or accessing the internet) brought into the testing room will be picked up prior to testing and students will receive a cell phone violation
  • All collected electronic devices will need to be picked up from the front office after school. 
  • Any student found with an electronic device in the testing room after testing has begun will face appropriate consequences including the possibility of dismissal from the test and cancellation of scores. 
  • Please leave these items in your locker or at home.

 Calculators: Although the use of a calculator is not required for this test, it may be helpful for students.

  • Calculators will be provided to all 11th grade students. 
  • 9th and 10th grade students may bring a scientific or graphing calculator from home (see list of acceptable calculator below). 

Mechanical pencils and highlighters are NOT allowed.  Students are encouraged to bring two Number 2 pencils for the testing session.

Seniors:

  • Seniors will have late arrival and will report to the cafeteria at 12:00PM
  • Seniors will need to enter the building through the West side cafeteria doors.  No other admittance will be allowed.
  • The CTE Center will be closed during 1B and 2B. 
  • If you are a dual credit student at Collin College, your classes will meet at the regular time.calculators
