PSAT Testing Information:

PSAT TESTING – Wednesday, October 11, 2017


  • All 10th and 11th grade students will take the PSAT/NMSQT test
  • All 9th and 12th grade students will have a late start (12:30 PM)
  • Bus schedule for late arrivals may be found by clicking here.
  • The PSAT/NMSQT will be given during 1st and 2nd periods.
  • Afternoon classes (3A and 4A) including CTE Center classes will follow the regular schedule. 
  • All afternoon CTE busses will resume at 1:00 PM
  • Room assignments for all 10th and 11th graders will be posted outside the cafeteria and Library the week prior to testing. 
  • TESTING WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 9:00 AM.  Students should report to the testing room by 8:50AM.
  • Late arriving students will NOT be allowed in the testing room.
  • All students traveling to CTE center for 3rd, the bus will not leave campus until 1:00PM.  The 4th period CTE bus will run as scheduled.

CELL PHONES/ELECTRONIC DEVICES are not allowed in the testing room. 

  • Any cell phone or electronic device (capable of capturing photos or accessing the internet) brought into the testing room will be picked up prior to testing and students will receive a cell phone violation
  • All collected electronic devices will need to be picked up from the front office after school by a parent. 
  • Any student found with an electronic device in the testing room after testing has begun will face appropriate consequences including the possibility of dismissal from the test and cancellation of scores. 
  • Students that have special circumstances will need to see Mrs. Nelson in A200, during the week of October 2nd for a pass.
  • Please leave all personal items in your locker or vehicle during the test.

FOOD AND DRINKS are NOT allowed in the testing area.

Calculators: Although the use of a calculator is not required for this test, it may be helpful for students.

  • Calculators will be provided to all 11th grade students. 
  • 10th grade students may bring a scientific or graphing calculator from home (see list of acceptable calculator below). 

Mechanical pencils and highlighters are NOT allowed Students are encouraged to bring two Number 2 pencils for the testing session.
