FISD Students Recognized for Highest-Possible ACT Scores

Feb 13, 2018

Students Recognized

Not one, not two, but 15 Frisco ISD high school students have earned bragging rights and the ability to list the highest-possible ACT score on their college and scholarship applications.

Earning a composite score of 36 on the college entrance exam is actually incredibly rare. Of the 2 million students nationwide who take the ACT, just over 0.1 percent or 1 out of every 1,000 students receives the highest-possible score. The average score nationwide is 21.

Frisco ISD is honored to have 14 members of the Class of 2018 who accomplished this significant feat on exams taken between February and December 2017, more than any other graduating class in Frisco ISD history. One FISD high school junior has also earned a composite score of 36, with more students likely to follow.
