Middle School One-Act Play Competition Results

Mar 04, 2015

Aspiring young actors and actresses from middle schools across Frisco ISD showed off their skills in February during the District's Middle School UIL One-Act Play competition.

Theatre programs were divided into Zones A and B for the first level of competition, held February 14 at Heritage and Lone Star high schools.

Three winning shows in each zone then advanced to compete against each other on February 21 at Liberty High School for the final results. The top six included plays from Clark, Fowler, Griffin, Roach, Scoggins and Staley middle schools.

Each was scored by guest adjudicator Deb Shaw, Director of Fine Arts at Midland ISD.

Congratulations to the final One-Act Play District winners:

Twenty-three students from six middle school campuses submitted entries to the contest in three design catagories: set design, costume design or marketing design.
