Counselor - Kristin Cabaniss 
6th Grade and 7th Grade Last Names A-M

Kristin Cabaniss grew up in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 1984.  She then attended Baylor University graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Education.  Ms. Cabaniss continued her education at the University of North Texas, first earning a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and then following that with a second Master’s degree in Counseling and Student Services. 

Ms. Cabaniss started her teaching career in 1989 as a coach and teacher in the Mesquite ISD.  She spent several years as a coach and teacher in various school districts, before moving into her current role as a school counselor.   In 2001, Ms, Cabaniss joined the Frisco Independent School district.  She has served as a counselor since 2006  and was part of the inaugural staff at Fowler Middle School when it opened in 2007.  She loves being a Fowler Falcon and truly believes we have the best students and staff anywhere. 

Ms. Cabaniss stays busy outside of school with a variety of interests including running, reading, writing, ministry, hanging out with great friends and cheering on her niece and nephews in various endeavors.  Her pride and joy are her three amazing pups, Zoe, Andi and Izzy.  On the weekends they can be found competing in agility at a local dog trial, or simply out and about enjoying the great outdoors engaging in various activities and excursions.


Counselor - Andrea Williams
7th Grade Last Names N-Z and 8th Grade

Andrea Williams was born in Austin, Texas and grew up in Plano, Texas.  She graduated from Plano East Senior High School.  She then attended the University of North Texas graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Education.  Mrs. Williams continued her education at the University of North Texas, earning a Master’s degree in Education.  She then attended Amberton University and completed a Master of Arts degree in School Counseling, and then followed that with a second degree, Master of Arts in Professional Counseling.

Ms. Williams started her teaching career in Princeton ISD.  After her first year of teaching, she came to Frisco ISD to open Clark Middle School in 2000.  While at Clark Middle School, she taught 6th grade ILA and social studies.  In 2006, she became the 6th grade counselor.  In 2007, Ms. Williams helped open Fowler Middle School where she continues to serve as the 7th and 8th grade counselor.

In her spare time, Ms. Williams enjoys traveling, going to concerts, reading, being with friends, and watching movies.
