Principal: Jamie Wisneski
With over 20 years of experience in education, Mrs. Wisneski is the principal of Charles B. Pearson Middle School. She has been assistant principal of Libby Cash Maus Middle School since it opened in 2010 till 2015. Prior to her position at Maus, she was the secondary mathematics coordinator in FISD for 4 years.  She taught math at the middle school / junior high level for 10 years prior, with 3 of them being at Wester and Roach Middle School. She has a bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and a master’s degree from Dallas Baptist.

Assistant Principal:  Lauren Higgins
Ms. Higgins, previously a Gifted and Talented teacher at Scoggins Middle School, has been named Assistant Principal at Pearson Middle School. She began her career as a middle school English teacher in Carrollton-Farmer’s Branch ISD. Ms. Higgins has been involved in curriculum writing and also served as a middle school cheer sponsor. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University and her master’s degree from the University of North Texas. Ms. Higgins enjoys camping, golfing, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.


Assistant Principal:  Melanie Lee
Mrs. Lee joins Pearson Middle School as Assistant Principal.  She has been a teacher in FISD for the past four years at Roach MS and Cobb MS.  She also served as the Math Instructional Coach at Cobb MS. Her teaching career also includes high school science in Farmersville ISD and middle school math and science at Barbers Hill ISD.  Ms. Lee also served as the Math Department Head while at Barbers Hill. She graduated from Texas A&M University (whoop!) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, and received her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX.  When not at school, you will generally find her in a gym supporting her kids as they play basketball or volleyball!  Mrs. Lee’s husband, Tyron, is also an educator and a coach for FISD at Wakeland HS…which lands her in a gym even more!  They have three children; Luke, Faith and Hannah. She also enjoys working out, reading, and spending time with my family outside of a gym!
