Barbara Warner started her education career in the Dallas Independent School District as a high school English, journalism, and ESL teacher.  She joined Frisco ISD in 2005 as a literature teacher at Staley Middle School, and then served as an assistant principal at Staley until 2008.  In 2008-09, Ms. Warner opened Richard L. Scoggins Middle School as its principal.  Her bachelor’s degree is from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and her master’s degree is from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas.  She is currently working on her doctorate through Texas A & M University-Commerce.  In September 2013, Ms. Warner was named Region 10 Middle School Principal of the Year, and in December 2013, she was named the 2014 Middle School Principal of the Year for the state of Texas.  Ms. Warner and her husband, Brian, have three children (and two dogs).  She is looking forward to another amazing year with our Seahawks at Scoggins Middle School!

Katie Reedy is thrilled to be the assistant principal overseeing all of 6th, 7th and 8th grade (last names A-K).  This will be her 6th year as part of the SMS administrative team. Prior to being an assistant principal, Ms. Reedy was an English teacher and team leader for our 7th grade students here at Scoggins. She also has taught gifted and talented students within Frisco ISD. Ms. Reedy received her undergraduate degree from Illinois State University and her graduate degree from Western Governor's University. She lives in the Frisco ISD community with her husband, Blake, and her children Violet and Max...with a new baby Seahawk to arrive November 2017!

Kimberly Lam is in her 18th year of education, and is beginning her 13th year in Frisco. Mrs. Lam joined the Scoggins family 10 years ago as a 7th/8th grade science teacher.  She has been a science teacher, 8th grade team leader, science IC, coach, and 504/testing coordinator. She and her husband Hulen have one daughter, Chloe.  Mrs. Lam earned her undergraduate degree from Northeastern State University and her masters degree from Concordia University Austin. Mrs. Lam is looking forward to an amazing year at Scoggins with the amazing Seahawk students and staff!
