   Paige Hoes |Principal

Mrs. Hoes first joined FISD in 2006 as social studies teacher at Roach Middle School. She quickly took on leadership roles as team leader and instructional coach within the social studies department before becoming an assistant principal at Staley Middle School. Mrs. Hoes also served as assistant principal and principal of the Frisco ISD Middle School Summer Program in 2014 and 2015. Her bachelor’s degree is from Texas A&M University and her master’s degree is from the University of North Texas.  Mrs. Hoes is proud to be a Viking and looks forward to serving the students, staff, and families of Vandeventer as principal this school year.


Jennifer Livingston |Assistant Principal & Campus Behavior Coordinator
Ms. Livingston served as Social Studies Instructional Coach, 8th Grade U.S. History teacher and Cheer Coach at Hunt Middle School prior to joining Vandeventer as Assistant Principal.  She began her teaching career as a 6th grade social studies teacher at Pioneer Heritage Middle School. Ms. Livingston received her Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and her Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Texas Woman's University.

  Reed Bond | Assistant Principal
Mr. Bond served as a U.S. Air Force officer and engineer, then as a math teacher in Arlington, Richardson, and Frisco ISDs where he taught math courses ranging from Algebra I to Calculus prior to joining Vandeventer in 2015. He held various leadership roles while teaching at Wakeland High School. Mr. Bond's Bachelor's degree is from Texas Tech University, his Master's is from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and he earned his Principal Certification through Lamar University.

  Cara Yeates l Counselor
Ms. Yeates served as an English teacher and head swim coach at Independence High School, and before that worked in Special Education at Liberty High School. She has served on multiple campus committees dedicated to making school a positive experience both academically and socially for our students, and loves watching the kids grow into unique individuals. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and received her Master’s of Education in Counseling from West Texas A&M University. 

  Dennis Thorpe | Counselor

Mr. Thorpe has served an educator and counselor for the past fourteen years in the state of Texas.  He began his career in education in 2000 as a middle school math teacher in Carrollton, Texas.  After spending ten years in the classroom Mr. Thorpe became a middle school counselor also in Carrollton where he served on the district crisis intervention team for two years before joining Vandeventer Middle School in 2013.  His bachelor’s degree is from Texas State University and his master’s degree is from Amberton University.
