Frisco ISD-TV has been named Dallas Area 1st Place Winner of The Greatest Save PSA contest.  Frisco ISD-TV producers along with instructor, Ms. Eva Coleman attended the Texas Rangers pre-game festivities at Globe Life Park in Arlington on May 23rd

The producers of the award-winning PSA titled, "Bruises Have No Benefits" are: Natasha Burklow, Tyson Clendening, Oscar Mijangos and Michael Ramirez.  Ms. Coleman stated, "I’m thrilled that our entry was selected and brings awareness to such a serious issue."

The PSA contest was for high school students to create an original 30 second public service announcement (PSA) on personal safety to raise awareness about sexual exploitation, date rape, human trafficking, bullying, abduction, internet risks and other personal safety issues facing teens today with the goal of preventing teen victimization.

The PSA entry will also be included in the national The Greatest Save Teen PSA Best of the Best DVD that will be distributed to all participating high schools nationally as well as the national competition among all Major League Baseball cities with the winner being announced during the MLB All-Star Game Festivities in San Diego in mid-July.
