Frisco ISD-TV stories recognized for 2014 National Scholastic Press Association broadcast honors

Former Frisco ISD-TV Senior Producers/Senior Editors Sean Magee and Tyler James have been announced as  finalists in the NSPA Broadcast Story of the Year contest. In the NSPA Broadcast News Story of the Year category, Magee’s Choosing the WRITE Battle shares details on a Nichols Elementary School first grade mission to impact troops overseas.  In the NSPA Broadcast Feature Story of the Year category, James’ Live From Studio A passes the mic to young broadcasters who are delivering the news at Ashley Elementary. Both stories were produced during the 2013-2014 season.

Magee and James served two years on the Frisco ISD-TV news team.  Magee is a  2014 graduate of Centennial High School and is currently studying at Collin College.  James is a 2014 graduate of Frisco High School and is currently studying Radio-TV-Film at The University of Texas at Austin.
