Feb 16, 2016

Imelda Sanchez of Wakeland High School, an advanced graphic design and illustration student at the Career and Technical Education Center, created the winning T-shirt design for the annual OrangeTheory Paddy Dash benefitting the Frisco Sunrise Rotary Club (FSRC), according to her instructor Dianna Bacon.

This is the second year the CTE design students have participated in a graphic design contest for this event. Houman Ghanbarnejad, senior at WHS, took second place, and junior Jared Trapp, of Independence High School, won third.

The FSRC supports numerous local charities through the provision of food, manpower and financial resources. Those charities include Frisco Family Services, Boys and Girls Club of Collin County, Mane Gait, C.A.K.E., Frisco Cares Clinic, Coats for Kids in FISD, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the North Texas Military Association.

The annual Paddy Dash is scheduled March 12 in Frisco Square.
