BPA Students Heading to Nationals in Florida

Ninety-eight Frisco ISD students joined over 2,700 other conference delegates from across Texas to compete in state level business skill competitions, attend general sessions and participate in the state officer candidate campaigns and elections. Four CTE students placed as National Qualifiers, and will advance to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida May 10-14, 2017.

Business Professionals of America is a national co-curricular organization for students preparing for careers in business, office and technical occupations.

Congratulations to the following FISD CTE students advancing to the national competition:

First Place:
Fundamentals of Web Design - Luke McGuire (WHS)

Second Place:
Computer Network Technology - Leif Matlack (CHS)
Network Administration Using Microsoft - Nicholas Lovan (LHS) 

Fifth Place:
Computer Security - Ryan Hall (LHS)

Seventh Place (National Alternates):
Visual Basic/ C# Programming - Rohith Perumalla (LHS)
Network Administration Using Cisco – Hasan Jafri (CHS)
