Message from the Principal

Hello, I'm Sara Bagby. This year, I am beginning my 17th year in Public Education and my 2nd year as Principal of Sonntag Elementary! My professional positions have included 3rd-5th Grade Teacher, Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal. These experiences have provided a unique opportunity to engage with children from all perspectives while developing my abilities to grow all children academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. I am a parent to two girls, Emma and Abigail! So, I walk alongside you in this great journey of raising children through their formative years. I am so grateful for your trust, support, and encouragement as I lead our Sonntag staff in providing the best educational experience we can for our students and parents. I am thankful for our very supportive PTA and community partner, Hunt Family Dentistry, for all that they do for our students and staff.

Lunch Visitors

We love having visitors on our campus! If you would like to have lunch with your child, please read the following:

  • Lunch reservations for up to four families per grade level, per date.
  • Lunch visitors must be on the schedule.
  • Visitors must show a valid ID.
  • Visitors will not be allowed access without proper identification.
  • Visitors must check in at the office.
  • Lunch will be with your child only in the cafe.

Curriculum Details

At Sonntag Elementary our curriculum follows the Frisco ISD scope and sequence. Teachers use assessments to ensure our instruction meets the needs of individual students. Morning meetings are how we start our day to ensure we meet the social and emotional needs of our students, as well.
