Over 100 Frisco ISD theater students celebrated big wins at the recent Texas Thespians State Festival at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine.
They competed in multiple solo and group events with a chance to qualify for the National Festival and earned several awards at the event. Wakeland senior Avishi Pandya also received a $3,000 scholarship.
Texas Thespians is the largest chapter in the nation of the Educational Theatre Association, which sponsors the International Thespian Society. These organizations assist with the training and development of young artists.
