graduation

As seniors prepare to cross the stage and parents plan for celebrations with family and friends, Frisco ISD is busy getting ready for the ceremonies that will be held at the Ford Center and Comerica Center.

Ceremonies will be held at the two venues from Wednesday, May 21 through Friday, May 23. This schedule and the split locations has freed up the Saturday and Sunday before Memorial Day for seniors, their families and Frisco ISD staff, answering a request made for the past several years.

All high school campuses will have early release on Wednesday, May 21. If bad weather make-up days are utilized on either Thursday, May 22 or Friday May 23, those days will also be early release for high school campuses. The early release time is 1 p.m.

Note: FISD does not currently need to use the bad weather make-up days.

Campuses will directly communicate with their students and families regarding transportation details.

Each campus will distribute to seniors their graduation tickets, which are required to enter Comerica or the Ford Center. Ceremonies will also be available to watch live online and on-demand following graduation free of charge. The livestream link will be available on the FISD Graduation webpage as the big event approaches.
