Frisco ISD knows big dreams start with strong foundations — that’s why we’re excited to make our full-day prekindergarten program available to all District residents.

This new, tuition-based expansion will open the award-winning District to more families than ever, ensuring a greater number of children have the chance to grow and learn with Frisco ISD. Before this change, full-day Pre-K was only available to qualifying students who met specific criteria.

In FISD’s Pre-K program, children learn in a safe, supportive environment, building early skills in reading, math and language. The District’s triple-certified teachers help children develop the skills needed for kindergarten through balanced instruction and playtime, using FISD’s curriculum aligned with Texas Pre-K guidelines..

“Frisco ISD’s program gives our youngest learners the best possible start, helping them walk into kindergarten confident and ready to shine,” said Melissa Ellis, assistant director of early childhood. “When kids have strong early learning experiences, it doesn’t just boost their academics, it builds independence and a love of school. Families also get to connect with Frisco ISD from the very beginning, which creates a lasting partnership. In the end, it’s about setting students up for success.”

Pre-K instruction helps students explore their creativity through play, music and movement, with access to the top-tier resources available in Frisco ISD.

Registration is open now, so apply for Pre-K enrollment today — limited spaces are available at select campuses!
