Frisco ISD encourages new and current families to get a jump on the 2025-26 school year as the registration window opens Tuesday, April 1. By completing the process early, families can start preparing for the new school year and help FISD plan for enrollment changes.
Current FISD students, including pre-K
Parents and guardians of current students should watch their email April 1-7, 2025, for an invitation to indicate enrollment intentions for the 2025-26 school year. The email will include a unique snapcode and instructions to complete the annual online PowerSchool Registration process for each student. Families cannot complete this process until they receive the email with the unique snapcode.
Families must provide proof of residency each year as a final step in the annual registration process. In addition, updated immunization records may be required to finalize registration before the new school year begins.
Middle and high school students who have completed the annual registration and proof of residency requirements by May 23, 2025, will be guaranteed to see their schedule in HAC on their campus release date.

Families who register for the 2024-25 school year after April 1, 2025, will receive their 2025-26 registration invitation at a later date.
New pre-K students
In addition, FISD invites parents of students who may qualify for free, full-day pre-kindergarten to submit their information to the District. Students must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2025, and meet eligibility requirements. See if your child qualifies for free, full-day prekindergarten.

New K-12 students
Frisco ISD invites families with students who will be new for the 2025-26 school year to pre-register online. This includes families moving to Frisco ISD, registering incoming kindergarteners or re-enrolling former students.
