risco ISD is proud to celebrate the creativity of our many talented visual artists in a yearlong series of vertical art shows.
Students’ works are chosen by campus art teachers to be displayed with peers from their feeder patterns.
The display of student visual art recognizes the hard work, growth and accomplishments of students. The District celebrates them and the dedicated teachers who helped foster a love of visual art.
“Students get a real sense of accomplishment when they can share their work in public,” said Rob Draper, fine arts coordinator. “These displays showcase their skills and bring their ideas to life and invite others to appreciate and engage with their vision."
See below for the dates artwork will be displayed in the FISD Administration Building lobby and save the date for the artist reception for each vertical art show. As the year progresses, student artwork can also be accessed in the virtual art show in the future links below.
