Elementary School

Literacy
Amplify Reading (K-2) - Personalized reading program based on the science of reading. Access via Clever in the Student Toolbox.
MackinVIA (K-5) - Elementary resource includes access to Britannica, History Lab, Learn 360 and more. Access via Clever in the Student Toolbox.
Math
Zearn - Students explore math through pictures, visual models and real-life examples. Access via Clever in the Student Toolbox.
STEMscopes Tic Tac Toe Boards - Students and parents can complete math activities together for each concept. Access through this link.

Science & Social Studies

Apex Tutorials
Personalized English, Math, Science, Social Studies, STAAR, SAT, ACT and TSIA2 tutorials are available May 19-August 29, 2025, through Apex Tutorials. Students can use the tutorials to identify and address learning gaps and ensure they are ready for grade-level instruction in the upcoming school year. Self-Enrollment Instructions.
SAT/PSAT Test Prep
SAT and PSAT test prep are available through a partnership with Khan Academy and the College Board. Frisco ISD students who take the PSAT and SAT through Frisco ISD can link their scores to the Khan Academy site and receive a personalized pathway to learn content and skills. ACT Test Prep
ACT offers free online ACT preparation through the ACT Academy. Access an ACT study guide, study tips, a full-length official ACT online exam and video lessons for free.
SAT/PSAT and ACT Test Prep
Learning Express, available through MackinVIA, offers free online academic and career related resources including full length guided SAT and ACT prep courses.
Middle School Remediation
Middle school students who need remediation or to take courses for credit recovery are served through the District’s online Secondary Summer School program. An informational webinar is scheduled for May 14.
High School Credit Recovery and Advancement
High school students can recover credit from failed classes or take classes for advancement during summer school.

MindBender Academy
Rising sixth through eighth graders can register for Frisco ISD’s MindBender Academy, a weeklong summer camp that encourages participants to explore the world of science, technology, engineering, art and math. There are two half-day sessions available.
All Ages
Summer Reading
All Frisco ISD students can access Sora to read audio or electronic books. Students must use their 6-digit student ID to log in. Learn how to use and access Sora.
Athletics
