Dozens earned top 10 placements at the state competitions this spring.

Frisco ISD finished the academic competition year strong, collecting a number of top 10 placements and gold medals at the state high school UIL Academic competitions this year.

The University Interscholastic League offers the most comprehensive program of academic competition in the nation. UIL academic contests encompass many elements of required high school coursework, building on the academic skills developed in the classroom.

Thousands of Frisco ISD students participated in academic contests in the 2024-25 school year, including the UIL state championships last month at the University of Texas at Austin. From Business Professionals of America to HOSA, DECA to FFA and more, FISD students are taking career and technical skills learned in class and applying that knowledge on a state and national stage. Find out more about academic competitions offered through FISD.

Congratulations to everyone who participated in UIL Academic competitions, including those listed below who placed in the top 10 at the state meet.
