The Texas Tennis Coaches Association has released its midseason rankings, and although there’s some change from the preseason rankings, Frisco ISD’s strength is still evident.

Ten of Frisco ISD’s 12 high school teams are in the state tennis rankings, including Wakeland in 6A and eight FISD ranked teams in 5A. The depth of tennis in FISD is astounding, considering more than 200 schools across the state have tennis teams in 5A – and nine FISD teams are ranked in the top 16.

The FISD tennis teams have two more weeks of district play before the playoffs. District standings and schedules can be found here. The top four teams from each district make the playoffs, which begin Oct. 5-6.
