For the fourth year in a row, Frisco ISD surveyed parents, staff members and students in grades 4-12 for feedback on their school and District.
The survey topics included Teaching and Learning; Student Support and Relationships; Whole Child Development; Safety, Security and Student Behavior; School Leadership, Culture and Environment; Family Involvement; and Future-Ready Learner.
Frisco ISD survey partner Sogolytics presented the results to campus principals and the Board of Trustees in May. Campuses, District leadership and Trustees use survey data to guide campus-based and district priorities.
The survey results provided valuable insights into perceptions and an opportunity to identify trends between the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years.
Feedback worth celebrating
Net Promoter Score: Parents/guardians were asked how likely they would be to recommend their school to someone in the area with a school-age child. A positive score means there are more people promoting a school than detracting from it. The parent/guardian average Net Promoter Score across all schools increased by 10 points in the past two years, from 28 to 38. Campus staff’s score over the same time period increased 13 points, from 33 to 46.
Quality of Education: 95% of campus-based staff members rated the quality of education as Excellent or Good, followed by parents (88%, an increase of 1 percentage point), elementary students (87%), and secondary students (87%, an increase of 2 percentage points). The Excellent ratings were up over last year by 3 percentage points.
Student Support and Relationships: Parent/guardian ratings ranged from 82%, regarding whether their child receives the support that addresses their individual needs, to 87%, regarding whether there is an adult at school to whom their child can go to for help with a school problem. These ratings increased 1-3 points from 2023-24 (79%-85%). 74% of secondary students said they receive support that addresses their individual needs, up 2 percentage points from last year. 53% said they look forward to school each day; this is a 5 point increase from last year
Safety, Security and Student Behavior: 93% of parents/guardians said their child feels safe at school, and 92% said their child’s school is safe. A greater percentage of parents/guardians said staff members are responsive when students report bullying and other safety concerns, increased 4 points to 67%.

Family Environment: For another year, there was high agreement between parents and students that teachers and staff are welcoming to all families.
Future-Ready Learner: A strong majority of parents and secondary students said students are challenged and supported in their ability to show compassion and respect toward others (90% and 88%, respectively) and to effectively communicate with others (both groups at 86%).
