Frisco ISD celebrates the FCCLA students who competed in this month’s State Leadership Conference, earning championships and medals, with eight advancing to nationals.
The Family Career Community Leaders of America is one of several career and technical student organizations that Frisco ISD students can take part in, learning skills they can bring to competitions. In FCCLA, students develop creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge and career preparation.
Students from Centennial, Emerson, Lebanon Trail and Wakeland FCCLA chapters are led by several accomplished advisers including Centennial’s Shirah Martinez, Emerson’s Katey De La Cruz and Rachel Oglesby, Lebanon Trail’s Michelle Fiszer and Kelli Walson, and Wakeland’s Christina Rudolph and Janna Whitehead.
