Every Frisco ISD high school has again been named to the prestigious AP School Honor Roll, earning one of the top designations of Gold or Silver.
The Advanced Placement School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose AP programs are seeing results while delivering greater access to students. Frisco ISD offers 33 AP courses, including the AP Capstone Diploma, and corresponding exams. Learn more about AP testing.
Criteria for the AP School Honor Roll includes:
At least 40% of the most recent graduating class took at least one AP exam in high school
At least 25% of the most recent graduating class scored a 3 or higher on at least one AP exam in high school
At least 2% of the most recent graduating class took five or more AP exams in high school, with at least one of those exams being taken in ninth or 10th grade.
Frisco ISD regularly reports AP scores well above state and national averages. Last spring, over 50% of AP Precalculus students earned the highest possible score on the AP test, in the first year that course was offered by Frisco ISD.
Congratulations to Frisco ISD’s accomplished AP educators and students!
