What an incredible way to wrap up College and Career Week! 🎓✨
Today was Career Day, and our students had a blast dressing up as their future careers. We saw future doctors, astronauts, artists, athletes, teachers, engineers, and so much more walking our halls!
A huge thank you to all of the parents and community members who took time out of their day to share about their careers and inspire our students. Your stories, experiences, and encouragement helped our students dream big and think about the many possibilities that await them in the future.

This week, our students have proudly worn their college shirts, participated in Training for Our Future, and showed off their creativity during Crazy for Careers Day. Along the way, they’ve been learning about future careers, building college and career readiness skills, and hearing from some amazing special visitors.
We’ve loved watching our students dream big, explore new possibilities, and get excited about their futures. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week has in store!

Fifth grade camp was full of learning, adventure, and unforgettable memories! Students explored physics and ecology, practiced fire building and archery skills, and strengthened their teamwork through a variety of team-building activities. 🏕️☀️🔥

Another amazing week at Phillips! From learning bike safety with Officer Gibson, to celebrating Apple Day in Kindergarten, to our 3rd–5th grade Celebration of Learning, there was so much to smile about. Our Flower Cart continued spreading joy, and the slightly cooler weather meant plenty of time for outdoor recess. Staff, students, parents and community members selected to serve on District committees for the 2026-27 school year were notified this week following approval by the Board of Trustees at its regular September meeting. Each committee is part of the larger District Advisory Council, which provides feedback to the Board on District initiatives, goals, programs and compliance-related matters. The District is grateful for everyone who volunteered their time and interest to serve.
Calendar Committee: As work begins on the 2027-28 instructional calendar, Frisco ISD is first soliciting stakeholder feedback to guide the District’s calendar committee. The 2027-28 Instructional Calendar Survey is open Sept. 17-Oct. 2. Access the survey.
Bond Planning Committee: FISD is exploring a possible spring 2027 bond, starting with formation of a Bond Planning Committee. Applications are open through Friday, Sept. 25. Apply online.
