Over 4,500 Frisco ISD elementary students signed up for the recent 21-Day Snacking Challenge, part of the Kids Teaching Kids program created by Medical City Healthcare. As part of Kids Teaching Kids, high school students use what they’re learning in the classroom to create healthy recipes, educational videos and wellness resources to teach younger students about nutrition and healthy lifestyles. For the snacking challenge, families are surveyed about their child’s snacking habits both before and after the 21-day period, with results provided to the District. A special thank you to the elementary PE teachers who bring this program to life at their schools!

Rainy and stormy days can mean heavier carpool traffic and longer arrival and dismissal times. Please review these important reminders for morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal.
⏰ Remember: The north-side doors close promptly at 7:45 a.m. If staff members are no longer present, please do not allow your child to exit the vehicle at those doors. Drive around to the front entrance for drop-off.
On inclement weather days, plan to leave a little earlier and allow extra time during dismissal as we work to keep students safe and limit the amount of time they spend outside.
Thank you for your patience and for partnering with us to keep our Sem students safe! 💙☔
