Frisco ISD is excited to announce the launch of a new communications toolkit designed to make it easier than ever for staff, students and families to stay connected.
Starting in the 2026-27 school year, the new Frisco ISD app will serve as a centralized hub for district and campus communication, offering seamless two-way messaging, instant alerts and easier access to important updates and resources.
The Frisco ISD app, along with new District and campus websites, come in response to consistent feedback from FISD families and staff requesting a more streamlined, user-friendly communication experience.
What this means: When the platform launches for the 2026-27 school year, families will be able to access school and District communication all in one place, no matter what grade or school your child attends.
New features will include:
Rooms - A new way for families to connect directly with their child’s teachers, coaches, directors and school staff.
Receive instant notifications. Receive instant notifications of new messages even if you haven't downloaded the district app.
Get one unified hub. All school and district communication, updates and alerts conveniently located in one single app and web experience, with one single login.
Read updates in your preferred language. All messages, announcements and updates will be automatically translated to your preferred language through the Frisco ISD app.
Message staff in one click. Easily connect with teachers, coaches, counselors and more, and see all of your messages in one inbox.

Families will begin receiving messages once the platform launches in the 2026-27 school year. Users will be able to view and respond to messages right from their mobile phone — through the Frisco ISD app or mobile web.
