Congratulations ACT SAT score

Seventeen Frisco ISD students joined an elite group this year, achieving the highest possible composite score on a single SAT or ACT exam.

Though millions of students a year take these standardized tests, less than 1% achieve the highest possible score.

The SAT is made up of three main sections: math, evidence-based reading and writing. The math section is scored on a scale of 200-800, while the evidence-based reading and writing sections are combined into one score on a scale of 200-800. Total SAT scores range from 400 to 1600.

The ACT consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading, and science, scored on a scale of 1-36. A student’s composite score is the average of the four test scores. The highest possible composite score on the ACT is a 36.

These well-rounded FISD high schoolers, several of whom are National Merit Semifinalists, also participate in athletics such as football and tennis, fine arts such as band and orchestra, and AP and career and technology classes.

Please join Frisco ISD in celebrating these students’ outstanding achievement. They will be recognized at the February Board meeting.
